It’s been upgraded to Multibit HD and the present release is Multibit HD v0.3. It’s simple and well suited for domestic users and small merchants who use desktop PCs for their everyday cryptocurrency transactions. It’s easy to download and install the program, then use the welcome wizard to set up a wallet.
Multibit was acquired by KeepKey back in 2016, but a number of security issues has made maintenance and management non-viable. Support ended in July 2017 and they’ve suggested that Multibit users should use other wallet software to hold the keys.
